Hla Phone has developed his own unique approach to the depiction of the Buddha image.
He deliberately chooses to reveal less in his paintings and concentrates on the angle.
His aim is to challenge the viewer to see beyond the obvious and to use their imagination.
He regularly exhibits in the private and public galleries of Rangoon.
